Easy Jalapeno Hamburger Steak


Hamburger Steak Ingredients:
2 pounds hamburger
1 onion, diced very small (almost minced)
2 tablespoons jalapeno, minced (optional)
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups stove top stuffing or like, processed into crumbs
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon thyme
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 to 2 tablespoons olive oil

Gravy Ingredients:
8 ounce package of mushrooms, sliced
2 jars brown gravy

Directions For the Hamburger Steaks:
In a large bowl, mix steak ingredients together, except for the olive oil. Mold into patties any size you like. Add olive oil to a frying pan on medium high heat. Fry steaks to desired doneness. Don't wash pan.
For the Gravy:
Add mushrooms to the pan you fried the steaks in and cook until tender. Add more olive oil if necessary. Add gravy and stir. Put the steaks back into the skillet with the gravy and let sit for a few minutes. Serve with fries or mashed potatoes.
